If you want a luxury Las Vegas experience but want to stay an arm's length from the casinos and nightlife, the Four Seasons is an excellent choice. You can expect top-notch service, accommodations, spa, health club and swimming pool. Guests also have access to the adjacent Mandalay Bay Resort's 11-acre water environment and casinos. At the south end of the Las Vegas strip, this non-gaming hotel is two miles from the McCarran International Airport but is central to all of the action on the Strip.

Four Seasons Las Vegas: Guest Rooms

Rooms and suites have spectacular views of the Strip and the surrounding desert. Guest rooms average 500 square feet and have large marble bathrooms with deep tub, separate glass enclosed shower and WC with telephone.

Four Seasons Las Vegas: Restaurants

Verandah is a chic, comfortable choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner with indoor and outdoor seating. The décor is modern Mediterranean -- high ceilings, pale green tones, a wide arched door and rattan furniture. Charlie Palmer Steak is open for dinner. Decorated in dark mahogany, with overstuffed chairs and deep couches, the restaurant oozes understated elegance. Guests can also choose from the 21 restaurants at nearby Mandalay Bay.

Four Seasons Las Vegas: Activities and Amenities

An 8,000-square-foot pool adorned with plants and statues has two whirlpools and covered chaise lounges. Evian mists, cold towels and ice water service give that Four Seasons touch, as do cucumber slices for the eyes and freshly sliced fruit for the palette. The 12,000 sq. ft. spa and fitness area has 16 treatment rooms, separate locker areas with steam rooms and a relaxation space. Top-notch equipment in the fitness center has TV and earphones on all of the cardio gear. A nice touch is the "bar" with lemon laced water, Gatorade and fruit. Joggers can snap up cold water and chilled towels at the hotel's porte cochere.

Unlike many of the other resorts, most amenities here (such as spa access) are included in the room price. Children are welcomed and pampered as well, with welcome gifts and special amenities. The hotel will even childproof your room before you check in. Although the Four Seasons has its own spa, guests have access to the larger Mandalay Bay spa as well. They can also use the Mandalay Bay pool/resort area.
