Since its opening in 1999, Mandalay Bay has become one of the most popular hotels on the Strip. At night, rumjungle becomes one of the hippest night spots in town. Concerts are held in the arena or the House of Blues concert hall. During the day, there's a rare coin museum, a walk-through aquarium and several trendy restaurants.

Mandalay Bay: Activities and Amenities

Its water park, with wave pool and sandy bottom lagoon, is popular with families, as is the walk-through aquarium and the rare coin museum. An 11-acre water playground with sandy beaches and a wave pool got an expansion in 2007, doubling the amount of beach chairs and adding a three-story, air conditioned casino with glass windows overlooking the beach.

The adults-only Moorea Beach Club allows European sunbathing and DJ-driven music. More about Mandalay Bay's Beach Casino and swimming pools
