Since its opening in 1996, the Stratosphere has already become one of the most recognizable icons of the Strip. The tallest free-standing observation deck in the U.S., the tower is topped with the highest thrill rides in the world, a roller coaster and "Big Shot" which launches riders even higher than the 1,149 foot observation deck. Mountain View rooms can be quite a relaxing respite from the Strip. The rotating Top of the World restaurant, although expensive and often crowded, offers 360 degree views of the city.

Stratosphere Hotel Casino: Activities and Amenities

Older kids who love theme park thrills might be brave enough for the three rides atop this 1,149 foot tower, including the highest roller coaster in the world.

GREAT!!!!!!!, Member hihi32

I really liked it, but it is at the end of the strip.Overall it was good the food sooo wonderful. Their is also an advantige to staying there you can go up to the tower for free with your room key. The rides at the top of the stratosphere are really fun the x-sceam and the insanity were fun not scary. Also the rooms were really nice and the shops, wow there is so many shops you can easliy find a gift for everybody. Enjoy your stay!!!:)
