What's Special About Mirage:
Built in 1989, this hotel was the first to take the theming to a new level. Designed like an oasis in the desert, the Mirage is lushly landscaped inside and out. The volcano out front erupts throughout the day and night, and many rooms have a great view. Siegfried and Roy have a white tiger habitat here, and a dolphin tank as well. Activities and Amenities at Mirage:
- Two pools, a meandering lagoon and lots of palm trees make up the relaxing swimming pool area at the Mirage. The pools are heated all year, but do close for a month each winter for maintenance.
Good to Know About Mirage:
- Your room key will get you into a VIP viewing area for the nightly show.
- Bare is the adults-only, European sunbathing pool. Separate from the resort's main pool, Bare provides music from a DJ, two dipping pools and VIP service. The cover charge of $10 for women, $30 for men goes higher on the weekends.
