• When I arrived in Munich it was one of those moody, rainy days that just beg for a nap. My room was the perfect place!
• A chair and hassock covered in a cool green velour-like fabric was in front of a small balcony overlooking the park and the distant alps. Next to the desk, a bookshelf added to the home quotient; the bed was decorated with colorful pillows in patterned silks.
• The bathroom had a heated floor, deep tub and separate shower. Details included a small turquoise bowl for your knickknacks, a hammered metal soap dish and original porcelain art on the wall.

• The Italian restaurant just off the lobby serves a terrific and refreshing different antipasto for lunch. The bright and lofty room has large windows with views of the Botanical Gardens.
• A lobby bar has comfortable lounging areas as well as bar seating.

• The spa area has six treatment rooms plus a shared sauna and steam bath.
• A large indoor heated swimming pool with lots of lounge chairs.
• A well-equipped, well-lit fitness area with individual TV sets on the aerobic equipment. Ask for headsets at front desk for use on the equipment.

• Park Cafe, a trendy yet relaxed restaurant, is right across the street. They offer a HUGE selection of beer along with typical German food.
• The hotel opened in October 2007.
• All rooms have high speed internet. Wireless is only available in the common areas.
• Guests of the hotel get a complimentary shoe shine.
