What's Special About Albuquerque Marriott:
This non-smoking hotel near the airport is near a modern shopping area. Some rooms have views of the Sandia Mountains. Pictures of Albuquerque Marriott
Guest Rooms at Albuquerque Marriott:
411 guest rooms including six suites have Wi-Fi (a $9.95 charge for 24 hours), coffee makers and irons. Bathrooms are small with combo shower/tubs and Bath and Body Works products.
Amenities at Albuquerque Marriott:
A fitness center overlooks an indoor-outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi.
Dining at Albuquerque Marriott:
  • Cielo Sandia is the on-site restaurant, serving three meals a day, including a fairly basic breakfast buffet.
  • Other restaurants within a mile are Romano's Macaroni Grill, Garduno's for Mexican and of course, a Starbucks.
Spa and Fitness Center at Albuquerque Marriott:
There is no on-site spa, but La Bella Spa and Salon is just around the corner.
What They Do Well at Albuquerque Marriott:
My guest room (306) was an "ultra-adaptable room" - a 32" LCD TV with a device that can hook up your laptop PC, MP3 player, digital camera, video camera, or DVD player to the TV. It is self-configuring (just plug in and go) and all the cables were supplied. You can even work on your computer and watch TV with a split-screen. My only complaint: I had to turn on the TV to listen to my iPod. Not all of the 411 rooms have it, you'll have to request it.
Good To Know at Albuquerque Marriott:
  • On-site, there are not many choices for recreation or dining. On the plus side, parking is free, so bring your car to expand your options.
  • Guest rooms do not have safes; you'll have to check valuables at the front desk.
Location of Albuquerque Marriott:
Fifteen minutes from Albuquerque International Sunport Airport, in a developing shopping/restaurant district. The Sandia Peak Ski Area is about a ten minute drive away. Compare Flights
