The famed Rene Bistrot was an unfortunate culinary victim of Hurricane Katrina, but a new restaurant is slated to open in October 2007. The Lobby Lounge offers snacks and drinks.

A small outdoor courtyard-style swimming pool is located on the third floor, just outside the fitness center. Flanked by a church and the hotel and surrounded with bamboo, it's shady and relaxing.
