What's Special About Renaissance Pere Marquette:
Housed in an Art Deco skyscraper that opened in 1927 and was at times home to an office building and one of the city's first indoor shopping centers, the Renaissance Pere Marquette is now a jazz-themed hotel. When you enter, notice the original marble floors in the lobby. Each floor of the hotel is dedicated to a different jazz musician, like Louis Prima and Etta James.
Guest Rooms at Renaissance Pere Marquette:
276 guest rooms including 4 suites. Rooms have a residential feel with a modern décor. Blonde wood, contemporary white bathrooms with dark wood vanities, and work desks with Herman Miller Aeron chairs. Bathrooms have either tub/shower combos or walk-in glass showers. Rooms include CD players, coffee makers, in-room safes, hair dryers, bathrobes and irons/ironing boards. One very unique touch: each guest room features an original photograph of a street number on a house in New Orleans, corresponding to the room's number.
