"Ok here are the pros and cons. The hotel is nice, close to Canal Street, Casino, Riverwalk, etc. Two blocks away is a 24/7 diner that no one knew was there if you ask them. There is a charge for the safe and the phone, but I was told that you get free long distance calls in the price. They told me that the person that was stealing from the safes was caught and was in jail. The A/C will cut off if you leave the room so it is kinda hot when you get to your room after walking in the heat. It did not take long to start cooling off. I guess it is motion or heat detected..."
