The shows were fine (I'm in show business) and the food was adequate. If you're looking for five-star quality food don't look for it here. However, you can seriously hurt yourself eating massive amounts of decent food at the buffets which I thought were reasonably priced especially compared to many of the high end hotels that I have stayed at. There are also plenty of healthy alternatives on the buffets like salad and fruit, etc.
You are going to spend money. It's a vacation! I spent three times as much at Disney World in 2005 and got no time to relax. I highly recommend this hotel if you have kids and take it for what it's worth. In fact, one day Vanilla Ice and his wife sat down next to us and we had a lot of fun with them while the kids played in the pool area.
A great value for the money (pre-book the room online for great savings) and you can relax here all day while your kids get slimed!!!
