Guest Review of the Nickelodeon Hotel by Wayne

From Wayne: Never again. It's a Motel (stress MOTEL with a 600 a night price tag) with some water slides and a lot of stickers on the walls. The rooms are tiny and cramped, the staff is rarely helpful and often nonexistent.

I went for the reason most of the people there did...my kids saw the commercials and pleaded. Next time I'll be far wiser. there are better deals by far to be had, especially in Disney, for half the cost. I cannot imagine too many people being taken in twice by this place.

Of particular interest were the staff who couldn't give directions, the one who gave the ones that got us lost, the woman who told us we could not, under any circumstances check in to preregister or check in before their unheard of 4:00 check in (c'mon, 2:00 is the standard, 4:00 is awful) and when we asked to speak to a manager she disconnected us! Great Service huh?

When we DID get in the room was not exactly clean. The kitchenette had not even a plastic utensil or anything...why bother with the 20 dollar microwave and dorm fridge...The bathroom boasted a USED bar of soap and a shampoo that was half empty and an incomplete towel set...for 600 a night!!! The kids room had a tiny bunk bed set and a buckling panel mural of the Rugrats...there's the premium cost at work. Smudged walls, dirty carpet.

Staff nonexistent except by the pool. Didn't get to a 'show' but can't imagine it would have made any of this worth it.

My advice is the same advice I regret ignoring from a friend who had just come back - forget it, the kids will be happy anywhere and the place is NOWHERE near worth the cost!!!
