Guest Review of the Nickelodeon Hotel by Kim Adams

Kim Adams, visited June 2007

From Kim Adams: The room cost $788 for two nights. The lock did not work on the door and had to be repaired. The dead bolt never was fixed. The speaker by the top bunk did not work. The queen bed was extremely hard.
The pool and slides were fun. They do not allow younger children on very many slides even when the slides do not end in the pool. They have a craft room that is only open certain times (even during rain). Only the coloring craft is free. All other crafts are $5-20. Face painting, hair braiding, tattoos, balloons and the arcade all cost extra.

Dora sing along or Spongebob shows are extra. The characters can be seen in the mall area sporadically, mostly only when they are walking to the restaurant for character meals. (We went to breakfast -- $19.95 adult, $10.95 child). The characters walk around to tables so you can take pictures. You are not guaranteed any specific character except Spongebob. They usually have from 2 to 4 characters.

I believe that for the money you spend just to stay there things in the room should work and some things should be included. Also on all ads they show children in the rooms playing video games. There is a Playstation in the room, but there are no games. If you don't bring your own you don't play.
