Disneyland Hotel

Overlooking Disneyland Paris, this enchanting hotel offers guests easy access to the park. Children will be delighted by breakfast with Disney characters and parents will appreciate the haute cuisine at the California Grill restaurant. The Victorian style is much closer to the Grand Floridian Resort in Florida (and the Disneyland Hotel in Hong Kong) than to the Disneyland Hotel in California.

Victorian and pastel with Disney touches like soaps with pictures of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the bathroom. Plenty of charming Disney details include flying hippos from Fantasia on the shower wall, and bedspread decorated with all the different fairies.

The pricey but perk-filled Castle Club is a concierge level with extras: a private elevator to the park entrance., breakfast with the charaters in a lounge overlooking the Disneyland Park, a character dinner, and best of all, front-of-line access to all Fast Pass attractions. The castle club sells out well in advance, so book ahead.

Details abound throughout the Disneyland Hotel. Above the elevators, dials in the shape of Mickey's hands tell you which floor they've stopped on. Characters appear regularly in the lobby to pose with guests for pictures.

A small spa offers massages and other treatments. An indoor swimming pool provides recreation opportunities in any weather. California Grill, although sharing the same name with the restaurant atop Disney's Contemporary Resort in Florida, has a very different (though upscale) menu.
