In one of the Hotel del Coronado's interesting shops, Established in 1888, an entire section of shelves is devoted to Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. She, along with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, filmed the comedy classic "Some Like It Hot" at the Del.

During the filming, Marilyn's husband, playwright Arthur Miller, was also staying at the hotel. Tony Curtis's wife, Janet Leigh, was on hand as well, pregnant at the time with Jamie Lee Curtis.

Although I didn't get out of my room much throughout my stay, I did bring back pictures of the rest of the Hotel del Coronado.
