La Costa Resort and Spa

I checked into my room in the 400s section of the La Costa Resort. Rooms 400-581 have two advantages over other groups of rooms; they are a short walk to the spa, and are next to a self-parking lot. The lobby, restaurants and shops are a slightly longer walk up a hill, but staff have golf carts to help you bring your luggage from the lobby. After checking in, I drove my rental car to the lot and parked just outside the building.

Rooms in the 800s and 900s are closer to the two main swimming pools, including the sandy Family Pool. Rooms in the 100s are within the busy shopping, lobby and restaurant area. Rooms in the 700s are closer to the Chopra Center, the kids' program (Camp la Costa), and the Tennis Center.

Pictured is the Garden Pool, one of four swimming pools at the resort. Many guest rooms in this section overlook the pool, and ground floor rooms have patios with sliding glass doors for convenient pool access.
