How I Did It:
While staying in the Bordello room, we took available light photos and there is an image of a man in the corner of the mirror. Also, while sleeping during the night, I had the strangest dream that a little girl was rolling up and down on my stomach and legs. It seemed so real. The next morning at breakfast, we discovered the story of the little girl who died on the grounds and is in search of her mother and seeks out mothers who stay there. While staying at a B&B, one gets to know the other guests as it is a more personal stay than a conventional hotel. We slept one night in the Crawfish Den and the room next to us was the Gothic Sanctuary. There were two women staying there. In the morning when we woke, their door was wide open, and they were nowhere to be found. They had left in the middle of the night after being groped by something. I guess it really freaked them out. Other guests had personal experiences as well.
Lessons Learned:
- I've always believed that there are things that can't be explained so I have an open mind about the existence of ghosts. A personal experience can either change your mind or reinforce your belief in paranormal activity.
