Where I Stayed
Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando. I was slightly worried before I checked in to the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando. Putting together rock 'n roll and a theme park seemed like a recipe for LOUD, and I figured on a headache. Boy, was I surprised. The Hard Rock Hotel isn't loud, it's cool. Everything was cool, from the new guest rooms, decorated in a chocolate and cream palette, to the delicious and casual food and drinks at The Kitchen.
What's the View?
Outside, you can see the lushly landscaped swimming pool area. Beyond, the tracks of the Incredible Hulk roller coaster and the spires of Doctor Doom's Fearfall at Islands of Adventure. Guests at the Hard Rock Hotel Universal Orlando, as well as at the other two on-site resorts, can use their room keys to go to the front of the line for any of the attractions at the two theme parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. They are both within walking distance; alternatively, boat service goes back and forth from the hotel.
Tips and Tricks
- Guests of Universal Orlando's three on-site hotels have front-of-line access to most attractions - just show your room key to skip the line.
