From the article: Disney Resorts
I've picked my favorite Disney World resorts; now it's your turn. Do you love one of the hotels on the list? Have a favorite Disney World resort I've missed? Tell us about it. What's the best Disney World resort, and why do you like it so much? (Registration is NOT required.) What's your favorite?

Beach Club Resort

Our family thinks that the Beach Club is the best! When our kids were younger, they loved the pool and waterslide and the fact that they got to travel to Epcot and Hollywood Studios by boat; they also delighted in the character meals at the Cape May Cafe; now that they are older, they still appreciate all of the above but also the entertainment options right across the way at Boardwalk; we have also discovered the Captain's Grille restaurant at the adjacent Yacht Club and that is our new favourite restaurant

Contemporary

This is hands down the nicest, cleanest Disney hotel! I've stayed also at the Port Orleans, Coronado Springs, and the Grand Floridian but nothing compares! Awsome food great pool and from my room I could see the fireworks! Best hotel ever!

Beach Club Resort- HANDS DOWN BEST!

I have stayed at several of the Disney resorts and the Beach Club is my favorite. The pool at Storm Along Bay cannot be beat! The on-site restaurants are great. So easy to get to Epcot--we would take the kids over at night for food and the 9p, fireworks show. Easy access to the Boardwalk area restaurants and bars. The resort itself? Beautiful, spacious rooms, everything you need right there, efficient and friendly staff and easy transportation. The best!

ALL OF THEM - PO-R is great though

We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and LOVED LOVED LOVED it!!! We also walked around the Contemporary and Grand Floridian, which are both beautiful! You can't go wrong with ANY Disney Resorts. Don't stress over choosing a certain resort, because whichever one you choose you are sure to have fun. No matter if you stay at a value, or a deluxe, it's all about the experience you have. Don't listen to the bad reviews! Every Disney resort is special in its own way :)

OLD KEY WEST RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in my opinion old key west is the best disney hotel. ive stayed there many times and it always is the best. ive stayed in other disney hotels (fort wilderness, saratoga springs, animal kingdom logde) but none can be compared to Old Key West! Old Key West is by far the best Disney hotel!

Polynesian Resort, Request a Pool View

My daughter and I have been going to Disney for the past 8 years. We started out at the Pop Century and it was great then hit the Caribbean Beach Resort, it was an upgrade. But the best we found was the Polynesian. Great location, not crowed, food is great and the dinner show is a must. You can see everything from the beach and pool from Magic Kingdom. Tip: request the pool view, it's great and priced as a garden view across from the pool!!!

Pop Century

I know this hotel is a value resort, but its so cool!!!! The food is great and the resort is close to Hollywood Studios. When we went, we had horrible mousekeeping. The maid never gave us enough washcloths and towels!!! She also took my sleeping mask. The resort has 3 pools divided into 3 areas. The bowling pool is in the 50's area. The computer pool is in the 90's area. And the hippy dippy pool is well, of course in the 60's/70's/80's area. On a scale of 1-10, I would give this resort a 10. :)

My Favorite is Wilderness Lodge

I have spent many years at Disney and of them all Wilderness Lodge is my favorite and Port Orleans French Quarter my least. The hotel needs to be refurbished, they switched our room, it was still disgusting. The bathtub was stained grey, our carpeting so gross I would not take my socks off. Don't waste your money.

Disney's French Quarter

I believe that price with service and convenience are all present at Disney's French Quarter Resort. We have stayed there for the past three years and we are having a hard time finding another Disney resort to stay at in 2010.

Favorite Disney Resorts

It depends on the age of the family members and what you are looking for. We have stayed at every Disney Resort except The Grand Floridian. Sarasota Springs was the first it's great for older kids because there is lots of recreational activities like renting bikes but it is further away from WDW. Animal Kingdom had one of the best kiddie pools for hours of fun and not to mention the animals! We love the Contemporary because of the monorail when our children were young we could roll the stroller on it for easy access back to the room for afternoon naps. You can also watch fireworks at night from your room in certain places. Beach Club has an awesome pool area with real sand at the bottom of the pool. Boardwalk Villas have great access to the boardwalk and in the evening they have street entertainment and lots of choices for food. Both of these are walking distance to a "secret" entrance to EPCOT that's underused and perfect in the AM to hit Soarin and Racetrack before the crowds.

Animal Kingdom?

I am 13 years old and went to disney when i was around ohhh... around 7 or 8. I have been wanting to go ever since, I have both my mom and dad wanting to take me again (they're divorced) but with each family comes pros and cons for example moderate reasort with mom and flying and for dad driving with any resort, but I wanted to know which one was best my two favorites are Animal Kingdom and Caribbean Beach...any suggestions...l.

Polynesian Resort

I remember visiting Disney World in 1976, when the park had been open for only 5 years. At that time, we stayed outside of the park, but my mom and I had our eyes on the Polynesian Resort. I told my mom that I wanted to stay there for my honeymoon (I was 13 at the time!). Fast forward to April, 2010. My husband and I didn't have our honeymoon there, but we saved up to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary instead! After staying at the Polynesian there is no other resort I could ever stay at now! In fact, it was so fun, so wonderful, and so very pretty, that we're going back in October of this year! We went all the way, as far as levels of luxury. We stayed at club level w/ concierge service, a balcony w/ a theme park view. Also, our building was exclusive, to us. We needed a card to get in and no-one else is allowed into that particular building w/o their card. It did make me feel more safe and comfortable, being in a locked resort building. I can't wait until we go back!
