Rented an updated Motel Studio 6 room in North Richland Hills, Ft Worth, Texas. Beware the Bed Bugs! A/C flooded room with Black debris when I turned it on. Black stuff - blasted in my face. A/C wouldn't work - - Bed Bugs had made a nest - black droppings almost looked like mice droppings. Didn't see a real Bed Bug until morning after I was covered with bites during the night. My doctor saw the bites and told me what they were. Manager denied the bugs were Bed Bugs. I was left to pay for the doctor visit and the endless washing of my clothes - cleaning my suitcases.

We stayed one night and woke up the next morning covered in bites! Management did not care at all. Reported them to Larimer county health department. Cost of meds came out of our pocket not to mention the days of misery!

I just checked out of the Doubletree in Annapolis. I was there for 3 nights and found bedbugs on the morning of my departure. The staff did not seem overly concerned. Yuk

We forgot to check for bedbug when we arrived but decided to check before we left today and sure enough there are dead bugs in the crevice of the box spring and a live bug crawling around under the mattress.

I was staying at the Beekman Tower Hotel in Manhattan, New York 15-19 October, in room 15D and was bitten by bedbugs I reported it to the reception and was moved to 19F, I didn't even get a formal apology.

On Wednesday October 13th my friend and woke up to bed bugs biting us and crawling on our beds. we were staying in Days Inn on Spring St. for fashion week at the Atlanta Mart as many other people were from all over the U.S. The head of house keeping told us she was aware of infestation on other floors but not the 8th floor. Duh! The manager did not speak to us when we asked for him. This is why the U.S. is being infested!

Well, my last night in MN at the Radisson and a bed bug was spotted, on the pillow at 4am just as we were waking! My partner placed 'Harold' in the sink for staff to see and when we informed the staff at the desk about this they did not appear unduly concerned! I on the other hand was a little creeped out... A week later, back home in the UK I have just this evening, over the course of an hour or so, come up with 14 'bite' like lumps on my left leg and 12 on my right. Not quite unlike the bed bug bits I have seen on the internet. I am now wondering if these were from 'Harold of the Radisson' (apparently in some cases they can take 14 days to show) or have now got them at home :( I am not a happy bunny at the moment and with hindsight I should have complained more to the Radisson but I was sad and on my way home :(

We went to a SDABBE Conference in Rapid City and one of the Board Members informed us she had to sleep on a rollaway with her daughter and boyfriend because she was bit by a bedbug. They inspected both beds and they were both infested. She grabbed the critters and put them in a cup and called management. They wouldn't reimburse her that nights stay, LaQuinta Hotel in Rapid City SD, next morning all Board Members checked out of the Hotel.

I got bitten by bedbugs in my last two trips. I just awake in my house covered in bedbug bites from a Seattle Hotel stay yesterday. Unless hotels come up with a "BEDBUG FREE" certification I won't stay in a hotel again. Hotels are the most expensive part of traveling, and quite frankly, they mostly try to cover up the problem. The bites are painful enough, and then comes the cost and worry of treating your house. It is just impossible to inspect a heavy hotel bed thoroughly as some comments suggest. The mattress alone weights a ton, and then there is the areas behind the fixed headboard. I think the only solution is for the consumer to cancel all hotel overnights until hotels figure out a solution to this problem. I just canceled a three day Vegas trip and gave up plans of travel to LA, San Diego and Santa Barbara. That is it as far as I am concerned. I am not putting myself through the pain and anxiety of dealing with bedbugs. My garden and my dogs will enjoy the time. :o)).

I got bed bugs at the Holiday Inn Express in Santee, South Carolina. The owners of this hotel are from East India and do not respect westerners. The did not have working internet service anywhere but in the lobby. Probably because they don't want their clients warning others about the way they run the place. Go to hotels on the other side of the highway instead. You will be better off.

I got really disgusted when I saw these sucking blood bugs on my bed and kids' bed with some were crushed with blood stain all over bed sheets. My husband and I packed our luggage and took off right away. And yes, I took pictures of the beds and the buys while they were crawling around. I should have taken video of since I'm at it but we were too disgusted with so we took off right away.

Stayed at Bonanza Inn within two days very wary in the morning bed bugs bites all over face, arms & neck one on back! Felt horrible, itchy, red puffy enlarged spots had to go to emergency room and two days after diagnoses and with anti-itch & hydrocortisone they are still inflamed! I still had to pay for those two nights and now that the antihistimes & other Rx haven't did the trick. I have to pay for a primary care visit out of pocket! Very costly trip. Look & feel terrible have cleaned everything praying I didn't bring any back home.

We had an infestation of bed bugs from the Dorado Pacifico Hotel in Mexico. Two people in our group from two different rooms were bitten. The hotel nor Citibank Credit would take responsibility for it. I had physician reports, exterminator reports, not to mention seeing hundreds of them leave our suitcase after one week of keeping the infected suitcase in the hot Texas sun!!! No one helped cover the cost of the expensive treatment.

Checked in with out any problems or bumps but by day 2 my kids were getting eaten alive while they were sleeping. Soon, we too (the adults) were getting eaten. It is bad. The hotel moved us 2 times and still, bugs. We washed all our clothes and linen at a laundry mat and still... Location: New Road Inn, Waco, TX
