Filthy Lobby
- We were at the Embassy Suites in Philadelphia with our 9 & 14 year old grandsons. There were ducks waddling all through the lobby--at will. We stepped around duck poop on the way to the restaurant, which was also in the lobby and watched as workmen doing remodeling laughed as they stepped around the same. We were given little or no satisfaction from Embassy Suites when we wrote to them and sent them pictures we had taken while staying there. Never again!!

The CONDOM story!!
- We just returned from a 3 night stay in Las Vegas with a disturbing story. The morning of day 2, I flipped back my covers and got out of bed stepping on something with my bare foot and much to my horror - it was a used condom!! Somehow that used condom had been in our bed for the 2 nights and it must have been the way that I flipped back the covers that morning. I called housekeeping and a Supervisor came within a couple of minutes and she called security who came and collected the condom. Within 5 minutes a security supervisor was at my door and requested that I fill out an incident report - taking pictures of me, my foot and our room. They cleaned our room and we stayed for one more night. Upon checkout I expected to at least receive the room charge complimentary because of the 'situation' but was informed that we had paid through an outside source they couldn't do anything.

all the time
- time after time, i have experienced from messy to just plain filthy hotel rooms. bedbugs in NC, fecal matter in FL, and unchanged bedding in too many places to name. i don't use the hotel glasses, i always use an allersac travel sheet, i always wipe down tv remote and most surfaces with clorox or lysol wipes, i never walk barefoot in the room.

Worst Hotel Room Ever
- The ... in Florence, KY. The room smelled like sewage, the furniture was literally sticky. A bug fell off of the light switch when I flipped it. There were two dead roaches in the drawer of the dresser. The lights over the vanity didn't work and the bathroom was disgusting. The people in the room next to ours were growing some sort of plant in a vomit bowl from a hospital. We told them how bad the room was, and they told us "No Refund". We left anyway. I intend to report them to OSHA and to the health dept.
