Room Sleeps 2 Adults + 1 Child
- I booked a double room that sleeps 2 adults and 1 child. Explained to the booking agent that I had an infant too and would bring a travel cot. The morning of the day we were due to check in, we were informed by the hotel that they had had a leak in the room and that we were being relocated to their sister hotel around the corner and could enjoy like for like facilities at no extra cost. When we checked in Saturday evening, the room had a double bed and just about enough room to erect the cot. I asked where my son was to sleep and was told in the bed with us. After explaining that this was not what I had paid for or in fact booked, I was told that they had no other available room to relocate to. Saturday night, London and 70 miles from home. It was an uncomfortable, cold night spent on the floor. Booking agent holds no liability and I am now trying to liaise with the hotel direct. The shower was plumbed incorrectly & charged my card before checking in.
